Nuremberg

Nürnberg was the first free imperial town to adopt the Reformation (1525).

Features of interest: Imperial Castle, Imperial Stables, Church of St. Lawrence, Church of St. Sebaldus, Albrecht Dürer House, Renaissance Town hall, Germanic national Museum containing numerous work of art from the time of the Reformation.
